It is often wondered why men would volunteer to return to battle.
Men return to battle because...
1. They have a purpose
2. They have a mission
3. They want to be with their brothers
Unfortunately, in this day and age, most men are living without a purpose, a mission, or other men to inspire, encourage, and to motivate them to exceed the current limits of their bodies and minds.
One of the hardest things a service member has to go through is to deal with the fact that after returning home from war, he must find a new purpose, a new mission, and new brothers to fight along.
During my deployment:
My purpose: To serve my country
My mission: To protect U.S. generals, government officials, and distinguished visitors at all cost
My brothers: The men I served along side
