“Coaching from Anthony definitely contributed to getting me out of the bad head space that I was in. I think talking to Anthony, in addition to the other changes I made, helped a lot. I’ve been in a much better space for a while now.”

Life Coach for Men Portland: Why a Fresh Start Isn’t Enough on Its Own

Portland has a reputation for reinvention – a city full of people who moved here specifically to build a different kind of life. But changing your zip code doesn’t change your head. Wherever you go, you bring yourself and whatever you’re carrying with you, long gray winters included.

As a life coach for men, I’ve worked with plenty of guys who relocated hoping new scenery would be enough on its own, and found out the hard way that it wasn’t. Real change takes more than a change of address.

If you’re a man in Portland feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure what you actually want next, that’s exactly the work I do. My name is Anthony, and I help men build the clarity and structure to stop drifting and start moving with intention – wherever they live.

Whether you’re navigating a career shift, a relationship that needs real work, or just a nagging sense that something’s missing, I can help you build an actual plan instead of waiting for motivation to show up on its own.

Let’s build the life you actually want, right from wherever you are in Portland.

Common Questions

Do I need to meet in person, or is this done remotely?

Every session happens by video or phone, so it doesn’t matter what part of Portland – or Oregon – you’re in. Distance was never really the barrier; readiness is.

I’ve already tried therapy. Why would coaching be any different?

Therapy and coaching solve different problems. Therapy tends to focus on understanding your past; coaching focuses on where you go from here, with a specific plan and someone holding you accountable to it. Plenty of the men I work with have done both, for different reasons.

Isn’t this just like talking to a friend?

A friend can listen. A coach is trained to notice the patterns you can’t see in yourself, ask the harder question, and hold you to a standard a friend usually won’t. It’s a different kind of relationship, built around a specific outcome.

About Anthony Treas

Anthony has been a men’s life coach since 2017. Before that, he served as an Iraq War veteran and came home to his own battles with PTSD, anxiety, and depression – which is exactly why his coaching doesn’t come from theory. He’s helped men work through low confidence, strained marriages, depression, unclear direction, and the harder work of building a healthier version of masculinity.

Men Who Have Gone Before You

Choosing a life coach for men is a real decision, and you deserve to know who you’re working with. Here’s what a few of the men who came before you have to say.

As a young man making his way in the world, I’ve found myself lost more than ever. After the passing of my grandfather, life for my family became extremely difficult. But after only one phone call with Anthony, I found a renewed assurance and certainty on how to overcome life’s obstacles. Anthony has been a great mentor – he even held me to a higher standard for myself by keeping me accountable and making sure I’m moving forward in my life.

STRONG Men Coaching Client

Working with Anthony has given me a sounding board to make the large and small adjustments to my life that I have needed. I would make plans or have ideas on how to improve my life, but I often would not follow through. Anthony is there to help me stay accountable, and to talk through my ideas and help me with planning and weekly goals. I have found my time with Anthony very helpful and would recommend anyone to let his coaching assist you in your goals.
